On August 16, the First Domestic Pure Electric Tug, “Yungang Electric Tug No. 1”, was delivered to Lianyungang Port in Jiangsu Province for trial operation. “Yungang Electric Tug No. 1” with an overall length 35.5 meters, width 10 meters, full load draft 3.5 meters, speed not less than 13 knots, working hours not less than 8 hours, total power designed for 5000 kWh, forward towing force 48 tons. The vessel can completely replace the traditional high-powered oil-fired harbor tug, filling the gap in the field of pure electric tug at sea in China.
