6600 Ton Dual-fuel stainless steel chemical tanker is the customized chemical tanker made by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yang Zhou) Dingheng Co., Ltd for German Shipowner John T. Essberger Group. The vessel is equipped with dual-fuel LNG propulsion system and has been certified with Finland/Sweden 1A Ice Class.

The vessel is 119.9 meters in length, 18 meters in width, 9.2 meters in depth, 6.5 meters in structural draught, and has a range of 6,500 nautical miles. It is designed by FKAB and certificated by DNV classification society. After being put into navigation, the vessel will mainly sail in Europe, realizing the upgrading of the shipowner's capacity and enhancing its competitiveness in the market segment.

As a marine automation system supplier, Noris-sibo has the honor to provide the vessel with alarm monitoring and control system and power system.

Alarm monitoring and control system has five workstations throughout the vessel, including the ECR, the bridge house and the cargo control room. It is convenient for the crew to control and operate the equipment and liquid cargoes in each place. Through the display screen, the crew can intuitively understand the working status of the equipment, and with the highly integrated automation function, the crew can complete the control of many cabins’ equipment with just a click of the mouse. This greatly improves the working efficiency.

The vessel is equipped with two 500kW and one 850kW main generators and one 800kW shaft generator. The use of dual-fuel, shore power, main generator, shaft generator, side thrusters and other equipment led to all kinds of the power system operating conditions. Noris engineers cooperate with the shipyard and related equipment manufacturers. After overcoming various factors such as language barriers and time zone difference, the commissioning and delivery of the power system was successfully completed.
